An NIH advisory group announced today that they're recommending the agency boost its minimum #postdoc salary to $70,000, up from the current $56,484. Many postdocs feel "underpaid and overworked," a co-chair said.

It is with much sadness that we learned about the passing of our mentor, Marc Caron. Deepest condolences to his family. A 2009 picture where we had a go-away party at his house. Always generous, always gracious. He touched and influenced many lives and will be dearly missed.
