Przez ponad 10 lat budowaliśmy infrastrukturę dla najbardziej wymagających europejskich projektów związanych z danymi satelitarnymi, #EarthObservation, sztuczną inteligencją oraz przetwarzaniem danych dużej skali. Dziś te same kompetencje wykorzystujemy do rozwoju rozwiązań przeznaczonych dla środowisk wymagających najwyższego poziomu bezpieczeństwa, odporności operacyjnej oraz kontroli nad danymi. Wśród zaprezentowanych rozwiązań znajduje się #Bastion – mobilne środowisko chmurowe umożliwiające lokalne przetwarzanie danych, integrację informacji pochodzących z satelitów, systemów bezzałogowych i innych sensorów oraz wykorzystanie AI do wsparcia procesu podejmowania decyzji.

🛰️ Introducing our ESA Φ-lab project – Decentralized Storage & Provenance of EO Data (Theme 2) We've been heads-down building. Now it's time to share what we've been working on. ▶️ What is it: An ESA Φ-lab-funded R&D initiative developing decentralized infrastructure for storing and tracking the provenance of Earth Observation data – tested against real-world scenarios. ▶️ Why it matters: EO data volumes are growing rapidly. Centralised architectures struggle to keep pace. We're exploring disruptive, decentralised approaches that ensure data integrity, traceability, and accessibility at scale. ▶️ Who's behind it: @CloudFerro (Poland) as Prime Contractor and DuoBit (Poland) as Sub-Contractor – combining expertise in cloud infrastructure, EO data platforms, and distributed systems. ▶️ Where we are: The project is in its final phase. Key components under development and testing include: • EDFS – a file transfer engine built for EO data workflows • Satellite Constellation Simulator – with 2D/3D visualisation GUI • Energy Cycle Simulation – modelling satellite charging and shading cycles • Reference Test Dataset – for validation against simulation output A Live Demo and Final Review at ESRIN are coming soon. In February, our #SeizeTheBeautyOfOurPlanet calendar features the 2nd place image from the 2025 edition of the “Seize the beauty of our Planet” contest. Selected under the theme “Cities and nature”, the image “Vancouver – Harmony of People and Nature” by @KamilOnoszko from Poland presents a city built on harmony between people and the natural environment. The image takes us to Vancouver, where urban life grows side by side with forests, rivers, and mountains. As the author explains, “Vancouver harmoniously combines intensive economic growth with a deep commitment to environmental stewardship, setting an example of a welcoming and sustainable place to live”. The image contains modified Copernicus Sentinel data (August 22, 2025). We are pleased to share that Monika Krzyżanowska, representing @CloudFerro, will take part in the French Space Tour – Franco-Polish Economic Forum, taking place on 11 February in Embassy of France in Poland. The event is organised by @businessfrance, the national agency for the internationalization of the French economy. The event is held under the Honorary Patronage of the @POLSA_GOV_PL and will bring together key stakeholders from the French and Polish space ecosystems. The goal of the event is to deepen dialogue, exchange expertise, and strengthen cooperation between French and Polish organisations active in the space sector,  with a strong focus on dual-use solutions, supporting both civilian and defence applications. Monika Krzyżanowska will participate in the panel discussion: “The role of industry and startups in the space sector: downstream innovations and upstream capabilities (for civil and military applications)” We look forward to insightful discussions about space and EO projects.
