Ever since the NBA Finals, people have been talking about Timberwolves stars leaving Minnesota and winning the title elsewhere. ๐Ÿบ Kevin Garnett left and won in Boston ๐Ÿบ Kevin Love left and won in Cleveland ๐Ÿบ Andrew Wiggins left and won in Golden State ๐Ÿบ Karl-Anthony Towns left and won in New York But these events also happened in other major sports. MLB Hall-of-Famer and former Minnesota Twin David Ortiz, eerily similar to KG, left for the Boston Red Sox. He won a World Series there. Just recently, Sam Darnold left the Minnesota Vikings for the Seattle Seahawks. He just won a Super Bowl for that city. It could just be a coincidence, But it's scary to think that whenever a star leaves Minnesota, Doesn't matter which sport it is, They win an NBA title just a few years, even months after.
