Save The Date! Thirty years ago, Uganda's capital markets were an idea taking shape. Today, they stand as a pillar of our financial system; and CMA has been at the centre of that story from the start. This year, we mark three decades of regulating and developing Uganda's capital markets under the theme: "Reimagining Uganda's Capital Markets for a Sustainable Future." For thirty years, we've stood by a single promise; to protect investments, build investor confidence, and grow markets that work for Ugandans. As we honour this journey, we turn to what comes next: capital markets that are sustainable, inclusive, and built for the generations ahead. 📅 Date: 8th October 2026 📍 Venue: Kampala Serena Hotel More details to follow. #CMAAt30 | #CapitalMarkets | #ProtectingYourInvestments

The Capital Markets Authority (CMA) will participate in this year’s edition of the Nation Media Group’s (NMG) Seeds of Gold Regional Farm Clinics, as part of the ongoing CMA@30 Celebrations. Our Public Education Officer, Nobert Barigye Kiiza, represented the Authority at the press conference and launch of the clinics held today at the National Crops Resources Research Institute. This year’s theme, “Climate Smart Farming for Bumper Harvests”, will focus on equipping farmers with the right financing avenues as well as knowledge to unlock sustainable growth. This initiative aligns with the Authority’s mandate of carrying out investor education particularly highlighting avenues through which farmers can invest as well as raise capital via licensed venture capital funds. Through the clinics, farmers will benefit by: 1. Gaining practical investor education to make informed & safe investment choices. 2. Accessing investment avenues for individual investors. 3. Leveraging capital raising opportunities through regulated venture capital funds. The CMA believes that access to sustainable long term patient capital through options like private equity, coupled with expert investment advice & knowledge, will empower farmers to scale their agribusinesses, enhance farmer incomes & businesses, and contribute to sustainable economic development. #CMAAt30 #SeedsofGoldFarmClinic #capitalmarkets
