Sad news out of Spain. @Atraczara will not be opening for the 2026 season due to ongoing financial difficulties with it’s parent company, Fénix Entertainment, which is currently involved in bankruptcy proceedings.

Great news from @WaldaTweets! The park will be opening Eagle's Pursuit, a new @vekomunofficial family launch coaster, in 2027. Built directly into the hillside, the ride will launch out of the station and dive into the ravine before a second mid‑course launch propels riders back uphill for a fast, airtime‑filled finale.

Switzerland's tallest, fastest, and longest roller coaster is coming to Conny-Land! Massai will be 72 feet (22 m) tall, 1,640 feet (500 m) long, and reach speeds up to 53.4 mph (86 km/h). The LSM launched @mackridescom BigDipper coaster is scheduled to open in 2027.

Today @WalibiBelgium announced that the park's Loup-Garou (Werewolf) coaster will be getting a @RockyMtnConst I-Box track conversion! The Vekoma wooden coaster will be closing later this year, with the new one scheduled to open in 2028.

Sad news with @niagara_park in Grand Island, New York, announcing it will not open for the 2026 season. Home to Silver Comet, a classic CCI wooden coaster, the park cited attendance and revenue insufficient to keep it operational.

Aquatopia at Tokyo DisneySea will end September 14th. The popular water ride attraction has been operating since the park opened in 2001.

Eco-focused GreenWood Family Park, in Wales, home to Green Dragon, the world’s only people-powered coaster, is up for sale for £1.25m ($1,688,100). Continuum Attractions bought the park in 2017, and has invested £1.5m ($2.025m) into the park over the last nine years.
