You can now add your Context7 API key in the settings to get higher limits and access private repos.

We don’t require a license for any type of usage. We generally recommend Pro or Enterprise for businesses that need SOC 2, SSO, or air-gapped deployments.
We keep indexes and cache in AWS US, though we also work with companies that have GDPR requirements.
Agents can do web search too, but in our experience it’s less efficient and more prone to hallucinations. We published a benchmark here: upstash.com/blog/context7-vs…
