Still one of my favorite jokes.

My wife dropped a piece of ice this morning, and it slid out of reach. Don’t worry, I told her. It’s just water under the fridge.

Is anyone else shopping around the various weather forecasts to find (and follow) the one with the “warmest” weekend temperatures? #stlwx

Hey, 2021. I know you’re young and all, but glaze belongs on donuts, not on the roads, trees or power lines. #stlwx

Sorry, guys. I bought new sunglasses, which means the sun won’t come out for at least a year.

After all the hype, “voting early” (although we’re not supposed to call it that in MO) feels anticlimactic. I still got a sticker, though. So there’s that.

Thinking of having a New Year’s Eve party this Saturday. Just family, of course. But let’s start this whole thing over. Next week, a new year, a new attitude, a new outlook. Who’s with me (distantly speaking)?

2020 is broken. Have we tried turning it off and turning it back on again?

The big theme from the Super Bowl ads this year seems to be borrowed interest. That is, capitalizing on someone else’s idea and, sometimes loosely and often unsuccessfully, tying it to your product. Is this remarkable insight or am I getting old? Maybe don’t answer that.

You know what sucks? During the next big winter storm, people will ignore the warnings and then get stuck on the roads again. #STLWX

Anyone else done with 2020 already? I’d like to request a reboot.
