It's great and rare to see founders today being present literally 24/7 and constantly looking for ways to improve their games. I believe this is actually how you create leverage in today's market.

When I played the game for the first time, it reminded me of Fallen Sword, which was probably the first browser game I really committed to when I was young ^^
I know some might take this as an offensive take, but I see tons of lazy approaches in Web3, and it's one of the biggest issues in the space. Lazy when it comes to seeing what competitors are doing, lazy to change things, lazy to listen to people...
Honestly, we as creators could do better as well (including myself).
Anyway, bad times create the best builders, and the best builders create the best games :))

Everyone talks about retention in Web3 gaming.
I don't think retention was ever the biggest problem.
The biggest problem was getting people to play in the first place.
Think about what the average gamer had to do a few years ago:
-> Create a wallet
-> Save a seed phrase
-> Buy crypto
-> Bridge assets
-> Sign transactions
-> Connect social accounts
And all of that happened before they even knew if the game was fun or whether they'd stick with it.
Most people quit long before gameplay starts.
This is why I think Immutable understood the problem better than most.
Instead of trying to force gamers to become crypto users...
They tried to make crypto invisible:
-> Immutable Passport
-> Google login
-> Gasless transactions
-> Immutable Play
The goal wasn't teaching players about blockchain.
The goal was letting them play.
Because no amount of tokenomics can save a game that nobody manages to start.
And this is where I think a lot of people still miss the point.
Web3 gaming doesn't become mainstream when gamers understand blockchain.
It becomes mainstream when gamers don't have to think about it.
Gamers want games.
Everything else should happen in the background.

One of the launches I'm looking forward to the most right now is Pocket Legions by @Mintory_labs.

-> @TollanUniverse, 100k stabs 50k from weekly quests, managed to get my first W in S5 with Monk
-> @MoodyMights, all daily weekly quests done, soon level 40 battle pass even though it ended lol
