So apparently now I can read ‘tarot reader for live events and parties’ to my increasingly eclectic CV. Thanks a million to @HitPointPress for the opportunity to play with the stunning Fablemaker’s Animated Tarot. It was super fun to add a D&D spin to all the readings!!

Hey @GapCA this math seems a little disingenuous. The clerk said I’d save 50% but in fact the discount is 40% plus 10% of 40% off. That’s a total of 46% off. I looked it up and the T&C on the ‘treat’ discount says “extra 10% off your purchase” not off your discounted subtotal

Gotta admit, feeling a little prickly hearing the chief electoral officer for ON on say on @OttawaMorning that @hydroottawa prioritizing election sites when my neighbourhood on well water has had neither power nor water for five days.

We, of course, ought to consider that a crowd of mostly-white folks got this light-touch treatment while homeless encampments and Indigenous occupations get systematically more aggressive and dangerous interventions. It's hard to ignore the stark difference.

My whole life, I’ve believed that the government and the police were ultimately good and ultimately acted with good intentions. The occupation of Ottawa has left me angry and disillusioned. I’ve lost so much faith in humanity and our public institutions.

Ottawa residents have blocked dozens of Convoy vehicles from entering downtown. Their blockade started at 9 this morning..going on 6 hours. It is -21 C with the windchill. Don't see any propane tank heaters/ generators/or illegal bonfires keeping them warm
