Exciting news to share! This past week, a short film about solitary confinement won a major award at a Tokyo film Festival, making it “Oscar-eligible.” The film, “Inside the Valley Sings” profiles three Solitary survivors, one of whom is me. I am humbled and grateful that the horror of Solitary is being brought to light.
