Facebook just reminded me I started my tech journey 8 years ago. I went from data entry to Frontend dev in 8 months. From $15/hr to jumping into an industry that offered 100k salaries w/ 2-3 years of experience. All before graduation w/ a degree in psychology & art

I grew up with my mom always making sure everyone around her had food. Unhoused people, elders, kids, new parents, teachers. It didn’t matter. Some times she would cook big meals and sometimes she would just buy large cater meals. She didn’t even need to know you were hungry
Torn on that video because yes community should feed kids but also… come get yall kids man 😭😭😭😭

She told me her neighbor, who were also poor, would often bring food to their house and that’s how they ate some nights. She said she never forgot what that was like.

The internet has changed human behavior but I like to believe there are more people in the world who haven’t forgotten what it feels like to receive help, and give it right back no hesitation.

I got Leslie Knope 😭 I asked why and got a good explanation and a few other but they doubled down on Leslie The first thing that came to mind about her is her falling πŸ˜‚
Based on your experience talking with me, reply only with the name of a character from a show/movie who is just like me. Got Ted Lasso from ChatGPT, Claude, and Grok and Gemini gave me Tony Stark πŸ˜‚

I think this is a better signal than people expect. I’ve seen a lot of ai application and some are amazing and highly profitable But at the same time a lot end up being sink holes because once the app scales the cost to run the ai creates an unstable overhead
JUST IN: Sam Altman says AI probably won’t trigger the β€œjobs apocalypse” he once predicted.

That and the big output quality mismatch vs risk tolerance for workflows. If these things aren’t addressed upfront they drastically limit the business ability to be β€œai native” that would drive the job apocalypse

It’s probably because they are using ai to estimate with their spending. I’m not even trying to be funny. Working with new founders I’ve seen more people use ai for finical projections and then get upset when they come out very very wrong.
JUST IN: Uber’s COO says heavy AI spending is getting harder to justify, as higher token usage fails to show a clear payoff in consumer features.

Yes usages charges are wild but I mean we shouldn’t build core workflows that are dependent on subscription based 3rd party apis that are this new. New companies always end up raising their prices.

I've been waking up at 5 am to code and take care of a few things around the house. I've always woke up early but I haven't been this productive in a long time

This is an. advancement that puts more of the security requirements on developers Which means this will increase the security risk for everyone
The release candidate for MCP 2026-07-28 is out. The protocol is now stateless: no handshake, no session id, any request can hit any server instance. Plus extensions as first-class (MCP Apps, Tasks), auth hardening, and a proper deprecation policy so we don't have to do this again. blog.modelcontextprotocol.io…
