We welcomed Alfie Williams, Wales U23 Shot Put athlete, to SGS to deliver Talent ID testing for our year 7s.🤩He also stayed afterschool to deliver a specialist throws training session for our students. It was fantastic to widen their knowledge and refine their techniques🥏

Our All Star Netballers began their tour yesterday. Upon arrival to Liverpool, they faced Merchant Taylors’ School in the penultimate fixtures of the programme. The U15 team earnt a 25-20 win, whilst the U13s worked hard in a tough game, applying coaches feedback throughout💚

We headed to Liverpool ONE to explore the shops in the city centre, participated in a scavenger hunt around the docks and took part in giant stand up padelboarding. It put communication & teamwork to the test. We closed the day with a team meal out at Las Iguanas restaurant. 💚

This afternoon the netballers played their final matches of the 2025-26 programme. Both teams worked together with excellent teamwork & determination on court in the competitive matches vs Birkenhead School. This evening, they had some free time to explore Liverpool City Centre🌃

Our All Star netballers had their final training session of the season.It was led by Elite Netball Academy coach Rachel Henry. The girls worked on footwork & movement to intercept the ball earlier. It was a fantastic practice ahead of their fixture this afternoon🤩
