🇮🇪 Eurovision legend Johnny Logan has revealed he turned down an invitation to appear at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest, despite being asked four times by organizers.
Speaking on Ireland AM, Logan said: “I was asked to be a guest on the Eurovision this year and I had to turn it down. I’ve been asked three times, four times to be involved with the Eurovision Song Contest, the actual show this year, and I’ve had to say no because of my support [for the boycott].”
“I’m not anti-Semitic and I’m not pro Hamas or anything like this. Quite the opposite. I would like to say, this is my decision. I’m not telling other people what they should do. I’m not telling people don’t watch the Eurovision, don’t enjoy the Eurovision, or whatever. I just was asked to make my decision. My decision is to support the Irish government and the Irish television position on this.”
