Great to see move to replace using horseshoe crabs in pharma-testing. Delighted if my work introducing a social science perspective to this topic & highlighting potential of 3Rs thinking/language has potentially helped move conversations fwd even slightly! pcrm.org/news/good-science-d…

A report by @SustainableRich that we helped to produce in 2020 highlighted the significant ethical and animal welfare need, and the scientific opportunity, for making this change. See our infographic bddy.me/35Ox1bL for a link

I could not agree more. Is there any way of protecting the people of #Brighton& Hove?A cap is an imposed maximum after all not a required minimum.

A rocketing bus fare rise hits young people, families and all those who can't afford a car. It entrenches years of unequal burdens, is the opposite of a progressive transport pricing policy, and means less for better travel across the country. Incredibly poor. #Budget2024

Oh for goodness sake, I certainly don’t welcome this decision . ‘Starmer insisted on Monday that working people would welcome such decisions as a necessary part of fixing the public finances after 14 years of Conservative government.’ apple.news/A7Tj5GsYFSnOQRQwV…

I’m loving being an apprentice geographer . Thanks to my mentor @SustainableRich
New piece by @Ethixbird & I in @SocCultGeog exploring the social and cultural elements of family life with rare disease, thinking what geography can add to discussions, and being a little creative with our methods by inviting reflections from our participants on a postcard!

🚌 It is deeply worrying that the Labour Government might ditch the bus fare cap in the Budget - here's why... 🧵

It is so disappointing to hear that @RachelReevesMP is planning to end the £2.00 bus fare cap. How is increasing the cost of public transport consistent with a wish to benefit working people and a commitment to protect the environment - both of which I want from the government?

Pls @Victorianplumb get in touch and explain why my order (all in stock) has not arrived, why we’ve not received updates or ETA, why money has been taken from my account & why this place is full of similar complaints.
