Redefine your next school trip with Adventure It starts with a moment. A pupil hesitates, then takes the next step. A group works out something together. Someone realises they can do more than they thought. πŸ§— Climbing real rock faces 🚣 Paddling across open water 🧭 Navigating woodland trails πŸ’ͺ Taking on team challenges These are shared experiences that feel exciting, challenging and achievable all at once. The best residentials don't feel controlled. They feel real, engaging and full of possibility. buff.ly/GfcwKuD

Across the UK, you can see these beautiful, large white flowers in bloom along roadside verges, in gardens, parks and grasslands. 🌼 If you see one, you are likely to see hundreds, as they spread well and grow in large numbers. They are a fantastic source of pollen and nectar for insects, and if you look closely could see the emerald green of the Thick-legged Flower Beetle. πŸͺ² What other pollinators have you seen on these flowers?🐝 πŸ‘‡οΈ Learn more about wildflowers with us: buff.ly/dAzgATc

Oak Green Primary, located in one of the 20% most deprived areas in the UK, visited @FSCAmersham for a habitats day with two Year 4 classes. The school supports a high number of pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), alongside many children with English as an additional language. πŸ¦‹ With limited space at school, the opportunity to run and explore was a rare opportunity. 🌳 Around half of the children had never visited a woodland before. πŸͺ² Only a few had experienced pond dipping. 🏫 Do you have a smaller cohort of students needing fieldwork experience? Designed for groups of 9 or fewer students from any one school, our small group courses bring together schools with low student numbers. πŸ”οΈ Small group courses bring together individual students, home educated students, schools with small cohorts, or students who were unable to attend a residential or alternative trip. By bringing groups together you do not have to pay for a minimum number of students. 🌏️These courses are run at various locations across the UK - but if you can't find what you are looking for please get in touch. We may be able to work with you to provide the outdoor learning experience your students need. buff.ly/5n6Ehn3

Are you taking time to connect with nature? 🌱 Back in May, @NaturalEngland published the results of their 'People and Nature Survey' which asked adults a number of nature related questions during October and December 2025 to establish how we're connecting with green and natural spaces.πŸ’š The results are encouraging, but could we be better at improving our connection to the environment? Are you looking for ways to engage with nature and benefit from time spent learning and appreciating the world around you? πŸ€— We offer a range of wellbeing experiences and retreats which help you connect with the natural world, practice inner reflection and slow down from the pace of everyday life. Through mindful activities, guided exploration, and time spent outdoors, you’ll discover the positive impact that connecting with nature can have on your wellbeing. 🌲 πŸ”— 🌱 buff.ly/QysFkO6

Let's celebrate Nature, Outdoors and Adventure Day together! We're proud to support this initiative from @IOLOutdoorProfs, raising awareness of the benefits outdoor learning brings. The day is an opportunity for everyone from the outdoor industry to get involved and share what activities are taking place. Plus, we are all encouraged to invite our MPs to come see the activities happening today. This is something we often do and we're always happy to facilitate a visit to showcase the amazing work and experiences available at our centres. ⭐️Find your MP: bit.ly/4c3ovXi πŸ“ŒGet on the map: buff.ly/8v0kP5s #NatureOutdoorsAdventureDay2026

The creation of a new GCSE in Natural History has taken an important step forward. Today, the @educationgovuk has launched a 12-week public consultation to gather feedback that will help shape the subject content for this new qualification. Following earlier collaboration with experts and stakeholders, including ourselves, the consultation now invites wider public input. Feedback received will play a key role in finalising the content of the GCSE. We will certainly be contributing our response and we encourage you to share your views too. πŸ‘‰ Have your say: buff.ly/nc5xo2b

Participation in outdoor learning has a wealth of benefits, for both those taking part and for the environment they are learning to appreciate. Challenging activities and unpredictable weather build resilience and confidence. Group tasks improve a child’s communication and teamwork skills, and new connections are made with peers and the natural world, as time away from screens broadens their horizons through new experiences. During a rock pooling session, one pupil (described by teachers as struggling to engage in classroom learning) told us: β€œI didn't know there were things like this, I actually want to learn now!” Donate to our β€œEvery child outdoors” appeal and help more children access the power of outdoor learning: buff.ly/e6yBsDg
