After FSD 5th-8th grade students participated in an all-school book read of “Insignificant Events in the Life of a Cactus” 🌵 by @DustiBowling, the author spent two days in our district meeting with students and parents! What an incredible literary experience!

How cool is it that all of our kids got the opportunity to read a @DustiBowling book and have her visit @fssdFMS ?!?! Some will even get to have lunch or do a writer’s workshop with her! Thanks @franklinspecial and FMS PTO for supporting opportunities like this!

The boys golf team wrapped up the season with a 2nd place finish in the WMAA Tournament. Jude Odom and Henry Rackley finished 2nd and 4th in the individual competition. James Zeller and Knox Lewis played well to help overtake Woodland for 2nd place. Great season Stars!
