Free-agent catcher Chris Williams is signing a minor-league contract with the Mets, source tells @TheAthletic. Williams, 28, was an eighth-round pick by the Twins in 2017. Spent most of past three seasons with Twins at AAA, hitting a combined 48 home runs.
