Happy Mother’s Day! For many of us, our moms are our heroes. That’s true for me & my siblings, so it was quite a scare when she became sick last year and we almost lost her. Thankfully, she fought hard, recovered, and last month our family gathered to celebrate her 85th birthday.

The triangle-shaped grilled cheese sandwiches she made for us.  The S&H green stamps she saved to buy us two reclining chairs to watch TV. Taking me shopping to find shoes that fit my size-ten feet when I was just in third grade! Funny how we remember "all the small things."

This #MothersDay, consider sharing some of those "small memories" with your mom.  It’s a nice reminder that it’s not just the big things that make our moms so special to each of us.
