A new study from @PennMedicine finds the rate of fatal #police shooting of unarmed Black people in the US over the last 5 years is more than 3X as high as white people. 🧵

This study echoes similar findings from @HarvardChanSPH, which looked at fatal #police shootings from 2013 - 2017. Researchers found that Black people were more than 3X as likely to be killed by police than white people.
