An inquiry into party financing is long overdue. Party oversight systems also need looked into.
Unless there is evidence public money was involved, it is up to SNP members to hold their office-bearers to account.

📉 Scotland's latest greenhouse gas statistics are out today.
Emissions fell by just 1% in 2024 - one of the smallest annual reductions on record.
Scotland is still reducing emissions, but progress has slowed sharply just as the hardest part of the net zero transition begins.

I don’t agree with double-jobbing for our politicians, with the exception of emergency service personnel.
Being a councillor is a full-time job (it should be paid accordingly) and so is that of an MSP. Hopefully, we see amended legislation in this Parliament.
A Green MSP has defended her decision to double job as a councillor.
Kayleigh Kinross-O'Neill spoke out on X after two other @Edinburgh_CC councillors-cum-MSPs resigned today.

Last week, we learned that the number of young people not in employment, education or training in the UK reached a grim milestone of 1 million earlier this year.
The UK now has the highest NEET rate of any European country in the OECD and the only EU country with a higher rate than us is Romania.

Aberdeen is getting hit with job cuts.
Oil & gas is in terminal decline, college and uni cuts limit transition opportunities, and our media is becoming further centralised in Glasgow and, to a lesser extent, Edinburgh.
This is not just or sustainable. Where is the action plan?

Aberdeen is Scotland's third largest city, Aberdeenshire has a population matching the city. Yet the only railway stations in Aberdeenshire are the towns that happen to be on the intercity lines, and the city itself has only a single station.
