I don't know how I missed this one. The Plebsource Bitaxe v2 for $80, it's $5 more than the stock Gamma and has a really nice heatsink. Saves money and time vs upgrading to a 52pi/Argon heatsink. Raspberry Pi 4/5 UPS solution takes up to four pairs of 18650 batteries. cnx-software.com/2025/12/10/… 52Pi UPS Gen 6 UPS mounts on the bottom side of the SBC and delivers power through pogo pins. It ships with a holder for two 18650 batteries, but three additional connectors allow for extra batteries. PykaPython (Python) scripts provide I2C register access, power and battery monitoring, and firmware updates. It can also expose all telemetry to Home Assistant via MQTT.

The low profile 52Pi heatsink and a copper shim really seems to change the game for the BitAxe Gamma. And a 5V 10A power supply for the increased power demand.
