तेलंगाना से जुड़ा बड़ा राजनीतिक और कानूनी घटनाक्रम सामने आया है। हैदराबाद की नामपल्ली कोर्ट ने कांग्रेस नेता मीनाक्षी नटराजन के खिलाफ दायर उस शिकायत को वापस कर दिया है, जिसकी वजह से उनका राज्यसभा चुनाव के लिए नामांकन रद्द हो गया था। न्यू इंडियन एक्सप्रेस की रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, ACMM- IV ने यह शिकायत ज्यूरिस्डिक्शन के आधार पर वापस लेते हुए कहा कि मामले में जिन लोगों के नाम शामिल हैं, वे वर्तमान या पूर्व जनप्रतिनिधि हैं, इसलिए इस तरह के मामलों की सुनवाई संबंधित विशेष अदालत में होनी चाहिए।
यह वही शिकायत थी जिसका उल्लेख मीनाक्षी नटराजन ने अपने चुनावी हलफनामे में नहीं किया था। इसी आधार पर रिटर्निंग ऑफिसर ने उनका राज्यसभा नामांकन खारिज कर दिया था। बाद में उन्होंने इस फैसले को सुप्रीम कोर्ट में चुनौती दी, लेकिन SC ने उनकी याचिका खारिज करते हुए साफ कहा कि इस मामले में उचित कानूनी रास्ता Election Petition दायर करना है।
पूरा मामला उस शिकायत से जुड़ा है जिसमें एक महिला ने कांग्रेस नेता कुंभम शिव कुमार रेड्डी पर यौन उत्पीड़न के आरोप लगाए थे। शिकायत में यह भी कहा गया था कि तेलंगाना के AICC प्रभारी के रूप में मीनाक्षी नटराजन ने कथित शिकायत पर कोई कार्रवाई नहीं की।
अब कोर्ट द्वारा शिकायत वापस लिए जाने के बाद यह मामला फिर से राजनीतिक बहस के केंद्र में आ गया है और आने वाले दिनों में इस पर और कानूनी व राजनीतिक प्रतिक्रियाएं देखने को मिल सकती हैं।

दिल्ली की एक अदालत ने सोमवार को कांग्रेस नेता अलका लांबा को वर्ष 2024 में जंतर-मंतर पर प्रदर्शन के दौरान पुलिसकर्मियों से कथित मारपीट और सरकारी कार्य में बाधा डालने के मामले में दोषी करार दिया। अदालत ने सजा पर बहस के लिए 5 जून की तारीख तय की है। फिलहाल इस मामले में विस्तृत आदेश का इंतजार है। कानूनी प्रावधानों के अनुसार, यदि कोर्ट उन्हें दो साल या उससे अधिक की सजा सुनाता है, तो वह छह साल तक चुनाव लड़ने के लिए अयोग्य हो सकती हैं।
अतिरिक्त मुख्य मेट्रोपॉलिटन मजिस्ट्रेट (ACMM) अश्विनी पंवार की अदालत ने यह फैसला सुनाया। अभियोजन पक्ष के अनुसार, 29 जुलाई 2024 को महिला आरक्षण के समर्थन में जंतर-मंतर पर आयोजित प्रदर्शन के दौरान अलका लांबा ने पुलिस कार्रवाई में बाधा पहुंचाई और सार्वजनिक मार्ग को अवरुद्ध किया था।
इस मामले में पिछले साल (दिसंबर 2025) मजिस्ट्रेट अदालत ने अलका लांबा के खिलाफ सरकारी कर्मचारी को ड्यूटी से रोकने के लिए बल प्रयोग करने, सरकारी कार्य में बाधा डालने, लोक सेवक के आदेश की अवहेलना करने और सार्वजनिक मार्ग में अवरोध पैदा करने जैसी धाराओं के तहत आरोप तय करने के आदेश दिए थे।
अलका लांबा ने निचली अदालत के इस आदेश को चुनौती देते हुए एक पुनरीक्षण याचिका (Revision Petition) दायर की थी, लेकिन अदालत ने उनकी याचिका को खारिज कर दिया था।

A Bengaluru techie, Balamurugan, who shot his bank employee wife dead on a public road, had actually taken professional shooting lessons just to commit the crime. This explosive detail has come out in the police investigation.
The Magadi Road police, who have completed their investigation, recently filed a chargesheet in court. According to the chargesheet, a copy of which is with Kannada Prabha, Balamurugan had enrolled in a shooting academy in Whitefield with the sole intention of murdering his wife.
The police found that Balamurugan held a meeting with his accomplices—Maulish Kumar, Periyaswamy, Rahul, Hari, and Surya—at a lodge in Majestic. It was here that they hatched the conspiracy, planned the murder, and even finalised the spot for the crime.
The investigation also revealed that Balamurugan travelled all the way to Bihar to buy two pistols for Rs 80,000. He thought keeping both pistols would make him look suspicious, so he gave one to another accused, who then took it to Tamil Nadu.
This murder case dates back to December 23, 2015. Balamurugan, who is from Tamil Nadu, was arrested for killing his 39-year-old wife, Bhuvaneshwari. His associates Abhimanyu Singh, Maulish Kumar, and Periyaswamy were also arrested. However, three other accused—Rahul, Harish, and Surya—are still on the run.
The police have now filed a massive 495-page chargesheet against all of them in the 24th ACMM court. The murder itself took place near Magadi.

The Magadi police have completed their investigation into the shocking murder of a bank employee last December, where her husband shot her dead on the road. They have now filed a massive 495-page chargesheet in court against seven accused.
The main accused is the victim's husband, Selva Balamurugan, a techie from Tamil Nadu. His associates Abhimanyu Singh, Maulesh Kumar, and Periyaswamy have also been arrested. Three other accused—Rahul, Harish, and Surya—are still on the run. Officials confirmed that the chargesheet has been submitted to the 24th ACMM court in the city.
The victim, Bhuvaneshwari, 39, was an assistant manager at a private bank. Her husband, Balamurugan, worked as a techie in a company near Whitefield. They were married for 13 years but were living separately due to family disputes. The situation got worse after Bhuvaneshwari sent him a divorce notice, leading to more fights between them.
Balamurugan suspected that his wife was having an extramarital affair. Driven by this suspicion, on the evening of December 23, 2025, he shot her three times in the middle of the road. After the murder, he went to the Magadi police station and surrendered.
The chargesheet reveals the chilling details of his murder plot. Balamurugan had first planned to get his wife killed by hiring contract killers. He had given a 'supari' of ₹1 lakh to Maulesh Kumar and Periyaswamy, two rowdies from Tamil Nadu. However, they failed to carry out the murder on time.
He then moved to a backup plan. With the help of Abhimanyu Singh from Varanasi, he bought a country-made pistol from Bihar. The chargesheet also mentions that he had even bought a knife a month before the murder, just in case the pistol plan failed.

Ricky Rai, son of former under world operative Muthappa Rai appeared before the Cubbon Park Traffic Police Station on Tuesday in connection with the alleged luxury car drifting case.
Earlier, police had issued a notice directing him to appear for questioning and had also towed the Lamborghini car from his residence in Sadashivanagar as part of the investigation.
Ricky Rai later approached the court, and the 5th ACMM Court granted him bail in the case.
Speaking on behalf of the accused, his counsel G. Narayanaswamy stated that the incident occurred a day after Rai returned to India. He claimed that the vehicle had developed a brake issue, which led to the situation being misinterpreted as drifting.
He further said Firstly, there was no nuisance,that day, there were no people on the road. The car was given for service, and the driver collected it.
Many claimed Ricky Rai was driving, but that is wrong, he wasn’t driving the driver was. I request you all not to say Ricky was driving. I won’t deny he was in the car, but this was not done intentionally,” he said.
Narayanaswamy claimed the car skidded and that the driver was talented enough to bring the car under control.
“When he applied the brakes,the car skidded because the road was newly paved. There’s nothing big in this. The driver immediately regained control of the car. It happened accidentally,” he said “The driver was behind the wheel.
Rai visited the police station to submit required documents and seek the release of the seized vehicle.
After the completion of the inquiry, police released him and escorted him out through a rear exit, reportedly to avoid media interaction.
Further investigation into the case is ongoing.

The lawyer of Ricky Rai - the son of a former don at the centre of the Lamborghini donut stunt video in Bengaluru - called the driver of the luxury vehicle "talented" but denied allegations of Rai being the one behind the wheel.
A video of a Lamborghini performing donuts and drifts on Bengaluru's MG Road recently went viral, prompting the Cubbon Park Traffic Police to register a case and seize the vehicle.
Police had suspected that Ricky Rai, son of the late underworld figure Muthappa Rai, was driving the car. However, Rai's lawyer, Narayanaswamy, has denied it.
"Firstly, there was no nuisance; that day, there were no people on the road. The car was given for service, and the driver collected it. Many claimed Ricky Rai was driving, but that is wrong; he wasn't driving; the driver was. I request you all not to say Ricky was driving. I won't deny he was in the car, but this was not done intentionally," he said.

Ricky had survived a shooting incident in Bidadi in 2023.
