Chris Cenac Jr. on how University of Houston coach Kelvin Sampson prepared him for the NBA Draft process: "In every aspect. How hard you're playing when you're on the court. Bringing that intensity every single time you're on the court.
"So yeah, he prepared me very well. I feel like I made the right decision going to Houston for sure."
Cenac is a consensus Top 22 pick in next week's NBA Draft who could go higher, maybe even sneaking in close to the lottery (Top 14 picks), because of his upside (height, wingspan, rebounding and shooting ability) and demonstrated work ethic.
The Bulls (4th and 15th picks), Warriors (11th pick) and Spurs (20th pick) are among the eight teams that have brought Cenac in for workouts already.
University of Houston product Chris Cenac Jr. confirms that he's been invited to NBA Draft and will attend as expected. Cenac says he has worked out for eight NBA teams so far. Warriors and Bulls are among that group.
