Thanks Xenowatch was officially launched at the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits) in 2016. The initiative was developed by the African Centre for Migration & Society (ACMS) to monitor and track incidents of xenophobic violence and discrimination across South Africa. However, xenophobic violence replaced Inkatha-ANC black on black violence in December 1994.
