Semen Skrepetsky (real name Robert Kuzovkov) is a Russian artist and activist. He was born in Altai and became known for his caricatures of Putin, Kadyrov and Lukashenko. In 2021, he moved from Russia to Poland.
In Europe, he participated in protests. For example, on June 12 in Berlin, he held a picket with a painting in the style of an icon featuring Stalin and Putin. And in 2024, at the Russian opposition march in Berlin, he carried a caricature of Navalny with a sandwich.
Shortly before the murder, Skrepetsky's address, who also criticized the Ukrainian authorities, appeared on the "Peacemaker" website.
