Turkish fans recently filled the 2,000 year old Antiphellos Ancient Theatre in Kaş, Antalya, to watch their national team’s World Cup match on a giant screen.
Aerial footage showed thousands in red and white, waving flags inside the amphitheater.
Built during the Hellenistic era (1st century BCE), this amphitheater is the only ancient theater in Anatolia designed to face the sea, giving beautiful views of the Mediterranean Sea and the Greek island of Meis.
