Lothar... like, Anduin Lothar, the Lion of the Alliance? This is a relative to that legendary man?

You can just say whats the issue with the character design, will not hurt. Also, theres no point in compare a secundary character (actually an irrelevant one, she only was there to bring Anduin back to light) to the main characters of the franchise

"Anduin Lothar had a secret biracial lovechild who lived in the subterranean depths" is totally nuts lol

Travis Fimmel just doesn’t miss. From Ragnar Lothbrok to Anduin Lothar the man was born to play legendary warriors who refuse to stay down. That 'Get out of my way, I’ll do it myself' moment is straight fire Still one of the best battle scenes in any fantasy film.

Jaina has been the defacto Alliance leader ever since Anduin left so it is quite possible

This is also the actual reason why "you" feel "no stakes". Not because "she didnt die anyways" Because NO ONE NOTICED. Lor'themar, Arator, Khadgar, Danath, Kurdran, Anduin, Velen, halloo? All they had to do was... to mention them, but they went like nothing happened.
I know I keep saying this but everyone ignoring that ALLERIA WINDRUNNER has been stabbed and Turalyon and her were thrown into the unknown is genuinely bad writing and disrespectful. So, sorry but I cant care about your "story" unless you recognize what happened to my baby

💙 King Anduin Wrynn 💛 Last artwork of the series. A tribute to Anduin's classic armor, a tribute to his character, to all that he's already been through, and to what's still to come. I can't wait to see what the future holds for him in TWW! #worldofwarcraft

"Broken Hero" Somehow I've realized I didn't have a solo render of my favorite boy on Azeroth yet, so I thought I could dedicate a page on my fanart project to our King ✨ (Yes - I prefer his hair longer 💜) #worldofwarcraft #warcraftart #anduin

Yeah and both Alleria and Turalyon are more anti-heroes. Blizz always sucked at pure heroes, they always go overboard to where they come off as flawless and preachy. Anduin himself was at his best when he dealt with Trauma or had Wrathion as his foil

LOTR Artist Spotlight: Middle-earth Landscapes by Brett Woods Fine Art 🎨 Some of the best Tolkien art comes from artists who simply paint what inspires them. For Brett Woods, that inspiration came from revisiting a scene that had stayed with him since childhood. Known for painting landscapes and wildlife, Brett found himself returning to Middle-earth after years of commission work. What started with one iconic scene soon reignited his passion for painting and opened the door to capturing the epic landscapes and atmosphere that make Tolkien’s world so memorable. Here’s what he shared about his journey: “I started off painting landscapes and wildlife back in 2015 as a hobby. I worked as a bricklayer and would only paint when I had free time. As the years went on, I started doing commissions for people pertaining to landscapes or wildlife. It got to the point where I was only painting commissions and never anything I wanted to paint. I was burnt out after a commission I did for a client, and I decided that I was not doing any more. Shortly after, I watched The Lord of the Rings with my family. When the Gates of Argonath came on the screen, I was instantly inspired to paint it. It was such an iconic moment for me as a child. So I painted it, and that kick-started painting more. I always loved epic landscapes, and trying to capture the atmosphere of some of the scenes has been a lot of fun.” It’s amazing how one scene can spark a creative journey. For Brett, it was the towering Argonath standing above the Anduin. Since then, his love of epic landscapes and Tolkien’s world has continued to inspire his work, bringing some of Middle-earth’s most memorable vistas to life on canvas. Be sure to follow @brettwoodsfineart on Instagram to see more of his beautiful Middle-earth landscapes and Tolkien inspired artwork. 🤓
