Can I learn somewhere what exactly? Last time I tried KMP plugin the swift support in the editor was not so great (way less than AppCode used to)

Now if @jetbrains would bring back AppCode, so I could use an editor and environment that managed to progress beyond 2013...

Make sense now. AppCode was functional and ugly as well

Back then, I mainly worked as an iOS dev. JetBrains sunset AppCode, their lone iOS IDE, in December ’22, which felt absurd. So yeah, I was annoyed and stopped paying attention to them. Later they teased some hope with Fleet supporting Swift, but that turned into more annoyance, a locked‑down extension store, and only their "AI" actually supported.

AppCode set the gold standard for IDEs, and I fear we'll never reach that level again. During my time at Uber, I sometimes had to let AppCode index for 30 minutes before I could start work, but once it finished, the experience was flawless. Navigation was instantaneous - jumping from a protocol to any implementation, or from a method to its protocol definition in another library - everything just worked. Xcode still can't match this. There's noticeable lag between selecting a jump destination and the actual navigation, and it frequently fails to list every type conforming to a protocol and many other things. And I'm talking specifically about Swift, which actually didn't support half of the features that ObjC supported in AppCode. That is why I always find it funny when someone says that Xcode is a great IDE. Developers for Apple ecosystem have simply grown accustomed to low expectations regarding their development experience.

iOS devs will finally experience a proper IDE 😉 We'll openly welcome anyone to use @AndroidStudio

That IDE I think is missed dearly but its spirit lives in IJ Ultimate.

Maybe it means it’s gone for proper Swift support on AS? 😜 Bring my home boy @appcode back

На самом деле отличная новость, если они запилят поддержку swift в средах IDEA based. После кончины AppCode этого очень не хватает.

Blockchains aren’t slow because they lie; they’re slow because every node re-executes the same work. Good for consensus, bad for heavy compute @brevis_zk’s Pico rewrites the playbook: Consensus stays onchain, workloads run in a modular zkVM, the chain verifies a single proof. The design is glue coprocessors: a general zkVM for programmability plus specialized circuits for the heavy paths. Machine instances form a pipeline: RISC-V → Convert → Combine → Compress → Embed → onchain (optional). Proverchain lets devs add or remove stages, tune recursion or swap proving backends such as STARK on BabyBear or KoalaBear, or CircleSTARK on Mersenne31 without touching appcode Pico also enshrines Brevis’s on-chain data coprocessor. In a 4096-trade Uniswap volume proof it ran ≈ 32× faster at ≈ 33% of the cost vs vanilla Pico, although still over 5× slower than the fully specialized Brevis path. Even a 10× vanilla GPU boost would not close that gap. This is the clear performance vs programmability trade-off Benchmarks: on Feb 6, 2025 with AWS r7a.48xlarge, Pico was ≈ 70 to 155% faster on CPU than RISC0, SP1, OpenVM across Fibonacci, Tendermint, Reth-17106222. With Pico-GPU on a single RTX 4090 64 vCPU host it is ≈ 10 to 20× faster, live on Ethproofs proving every 100th Ethereum block and averaging ≈ 25% ahead of SP1 across 50 blocks the ZK future isn’t monolithic. it is modular, accelerated and app-aware. that is Pico.

Hey @zerodha can you change your login algo to only ask for Appcode once a day? It's irritating to keep going back to your mobile whenever you want to login. Something like icicidirect login please.
