Built an autonomous AutoPR agent using Hermes , a surprisingly capable and resilient developer agent. In this demo, the agent scans the open-source repo vinta/awesome-python, analyzes the codebase structure, and inspects the README for formatting issues. During the scan it detected a subtle Markdown bug: a missing closing backtick in the nose2 description (line 1037). The agent generated a patch, applied the fix, committed the change, and prepared a pull request all automatically. I also extended the improvement by adding a GitHub Actions workflow that runs a link checker (lychee) to catch broken links across hundreds of resources in the README. This demo took real persistence , I spent nearly two days experimenting, debugging, and refining the workflow to make the agent reliably scan, detect, fix, and push changes. Small human moment in the process: I accidentally generated the wrong token permission at first, fixed it, regenerated the token, and continued the push. Even autonomous workflows still need a little human debugging sometimes 😊 Result: bug detected → fix generated → CI workflow added → PR opened. @NousResearch

Haha, this is exactly why we built AutoPR sound innovative without the extra work! AI isn’t always about building something entirely new. Sometimes, it’s about leveraging what’s already there and optimizing it with smart automation.

Truth. Most people overcomplicate the start. You don’t need fancy tools you need momentum. At AutoPR, we’ve seen businesses grow 3x faster just by starting with what they have and automating smartly along the way.
