Such a nice guy. I got an email from Atlantic once saying AyeWrite were inviting me to their Festival - then a follow up shortly after saying I was disinvited, they had thought I was Edwin Morgan. Eddie would have loved that. Still miss him being about.

Atlantic Books contacted me to say that AyeWrite had invited me but soon follwed up to say I was disinvited - they had thought I was Eddie Morgan who had died. I was not bovvered the Edinburgh Book Festival had me instead!

My publisher phoned me to say AyeWrite had invited me to be in their line up then phoned back to say sorry they thought I was Edwin Morgan. Eddie had died not long before. I then got an invitation to the Edinburgh Books Festival - (in Fast Show voice), which was nice.

Great event even when my wife asked me to ask him if he knew her Cousin (also a psych). Pffft I replied don't be daft. Embarrassingly he had spoken to him that afternoon !

🥘📚💕 I've chaired a fair few book events, but last night @AyeWrite was among the most enjoyable as I was able to converse about one of my first loves (& jobs) - cooking, with two of the very best, Julie Lin & Ferrier Richardson who were charming, erudite, & just great company.
