On Thursday afternoon, members of the Madhya Pradesh Muslim Vikas Parishad submitted a memorandum addressed to the President of India through the district administration at the Collectorate in Khargone. The delegation handed over the memorandum to Deputy Collector P.S. Agasiya, urging the government to frame strict legislation for the protection and conservation of cattle across the country. BTW, according to some accounts, Moran Sarkar was a descendent of Barakzai Pashtuns. Ironically, Ranjit Singh also banged the Afghan Barakzais on the battlefield, too. Punjabi Muslims were part of Ranjit Singh's state. His Foreign Minister Fakir Azizuddin was a Punjabi Muslim. The artillery was dominated by the Muslims. Punjabi Muslims suffered more at the hands of the bandits like Abdali and his grandson Shah Zaman than Ranjit Singh.

Rupa-rupanya beliau berasal dari Ipoh Perak dan telah menetap di Kapit selama 18 tahun selepas berkahwin dengan pasangannya yang berasal dari daerah ini. Beliau kini menetap di Rumah Panjang Kayan Nanga Dia di Kapit. Memang fasih beliau berbahasa Iban.
