A friend on IRC introduced me to Bitpop and before that i just thought this type of music existed only in the keygens in pirated software: slagsmalsklubben.bandcamp.co…
I'll never fall for the "kpop is not innovative" propaganda cause WHO else is mixing classical music, disco, future bass, europop, and bitpop in a single song? Stellar you'll NEVER be forgotten

TBD is a take on the newjeans-illit influences of dreamy jersey club and bitpop and is great on the execution of that alone, but that hard edm pre-chorus really takes it to the next level for me, it ends up being a pretty unique structure with a characteristically billlie edge
if it’s bitpop and video game-y synthpop then yes but if it’s corporate retro and teen pop then no
man it makes me sad that i was looking forward to more heavy edm in kpop for a while which includes techno, but hybe’s execution of it is so mid that ppl now call it “technoslop”
