Police are tracing several bank accounts believed to have been used as mule accounts in scams involving ticket sales for K-pop group BTS's upcoming concert in Malaysia.
Brickfields police suspect the accounts were used by syndicates to receive payments from victims, reports Berita Harian.

41 Malaysians have fallen victim to online scams involving fake tickets for an upcoming BTS concert, with total losses amounting to nearly RM96,000.
Police said the victims responded to social media offers from unofficial sellers promising cheaper or sold-out tickets, with one fan losing RM3,000 after the reseller disappeared.

Hari ini 25 tahun yang lalu, Stesen Sentral Kuala Lumpur (KL Sentral) dirasmikan.
Sebelum kewujudannya, Stesen Kereta Api Lama Kuala Lumpur merupakan hentian KTM di ibu negara Malaysia. Zaman beredar, teknologi berkembang, satu persatu sistem perkhidmatan tren yang berbeza diperkenalkan namun setiap satunya terasing.
Menyedari perlunya satu stesen berpusat yang menghubungkan semua jenis pengangkutan awam di KL, projek merealisasikannya dimulakan pada 1994 di lokasi Central Railroad Repair Shop, bekas tempat melangsir tren-tren lama KTM di Brickfields.
Konsortium pimpinan MRCB bersama KTM Berhad & Pembinaan Redzai Sdn. Bhd. melantik firma jurubina Kisho Kurokawa, arkitek tersohor Jepun yang merekabina KLIA, untuk melakar pelan induk bagi keseluruhan projek berkeluasan 72 ekar itu.
Pembangunannya terbahagi kepada 14 lot, dilabel A hingga N, setiap satunya diberi fungsi berbeza & dibina secara berfasa. Selain sebagai hab pengangkutan, ia juga merangkumi hotel, menara pejabat, kondominium serta pusat beli-belah.
Lot yang utama, Lot H iaitu Stesen Sentral yang menghubungkan 6 rangkaian gerabak siap pada Disember 2000 & dibuka pada 16 April 2001. Ia dirasmikan pada 13 Jun tahun sama oleh Timbalan Perdana Menteri, Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.
Ia mempunyai 6 aras, 28 trek & 12 platform merangkumi perkhidmatan KTM Komuter, KTM ETS, LRT Laluan Kelana Jaya (dahulu PUTRA LRT), KLIA Transit, KLIA Express & Skypark Link. Stesen KL Monorel & MRT Laluan Kajang tidak jauh dari situ.
Selain sebagai stesen kereta api terbesar di Asia Tenggara, KL Sentral turut menjadi perhentian bas & teksi, serta KL City Air Terminal yang menyediakan kemudahan daftar masuk untuk penerbangan di KLIA
