While HAF has been advocating for the California State Nonprofit Security Grant Program since Sept 2023 (see letter) & @calcivilrights found anti-Hindu hate incidents to be the 2nd most reported in the state, official @CAgovernor messaging headlines only mention synagogues & mosques as beneficiaries of CSNSGP. HAF has CONFIRMED that Hindu mandirs and non-profit institutions ARE eligible for this funding. We regret that there has been some confusion in the community due to the messaging making it more important that all communities are aware.
