Casefiles. Excellent characterization, great character arc, fun interactions, and he's the heart of the team. By the way, Charmy is SO overhated.

man there was this whispangle fanfic, one of the first ones i read, that i´d love to animate one day, its a tad simple but once i get enough time and get done with the "list of wips emi has laying around and needs to complete" ill do it, but for now ill just imagine it in my head

Once again, Casefiles haha
It's easily the best he's been as a character, he gets a character arc (which he's never really had in any canon material) and some good development.
He's good in IDW too, but Casefiles is easily his best.
