QUICK UPDATE! I'm bringing Codux to an end. Well not exactly. Just making a few major changes. ////////// Codux was a personal monthly challenge to make 1 UI design and code it every day. But after 2 months a few things came to mind: 1. Doesn't tell a consistent story. Daily design shots will improve your design skills and expand your portfolio but it doesn't tell a consistent story, and doesn't explain the ideas behind them. 2. One design can take more than a day. It's one thing to design, and another to code. Even though I can do both, I still need time to achieve the level of quality I'm looking for. I could use AI tools and move fast but I want to go through it thoroughly. 3. I recently found out the name (Codux) is already the name of a visual IDE (thanks @RavivTom), so I'm considering changing it. It was a placeholder by the way. 4. Moving it from a personal challenge to a @syiolabs initiative. I'm still deciding on the name, but in the meantime, moving forward, I've decided to do one per week instead. It's manageable, I can design build end-to-end, without stressing myself out. I'll also have more time to focus on quality and thought process.

I'm not a good designer so take this all with a grain of salt I would peg it as a flavor of the current "brutalist" trend. I first saw it in dev tools on the old Codux site, but Vercel and Mux are leaning into it now too
