In US special forces combatives training, one of the most important aspects they drill into trainees is that fights with weapons WILL spill blood. There is no such thing as a cool takedown that’ll have you perfectly fine and the other guy on his ass. It’ll be bloody, it’ll be messy, and you’ll WILL be hurt. Thus, the training is based around:
-Killing the enemy as fast as possible
-Ensuring that you’re hurt in ways that aren’t immediately mortal
In that exact order of importance. After all, if the other guy is alive, your backup can’t save you, but if you kill the other guy, your backup can give you first aid and stabilize you. There are tons of moves they learn that typically involve allowing your enemy to stab your arm or hand, to better control the fight by disengaging their weapon. You can live from a stab in the arm, but you can’t live if they stab you 5983 times in the chest
Помню как ходил на курсы самообороны у челу который тренировал узбекский спецназ, он нам тогда сказал что если на тебя напали с ножом или пистолетом лучший способ выжить - выполнять требования напавшего, а не отбиваться.
