Had the best time at Putt Portal Mystery Golf today. It’s like mini golf an escape room. Every hole has a puzzle Students loved it. It was a fun & different experience that was great for motor skills, problem solving & teamwork!

DKU students in the course Ethnography of China: New Directions partnered with residents of New Dayu Village near campus to explore how urbanization is changing daily life. “Riverbank homes: Shantang Street in transition,” a Community-Based Learning exhibition by students in DKU’s advanced Chinese language course (CHINESE 401B), opened yesterday. The exhibit documents the demolition and relocation reshaping Suzhou’s historic Shantang Street, capturing everyday life amid rapid urban change. Through fieldwork, interviews, and visual storytelling, students show how a neighborhood known for “small bridges, flowing water and homes” evolves into a commercial landmark under growing pressure from redevelopment.
