🇺🇦 Ukrainian specialists are working on the development of a compact anti-aircraft missile ST-100, equipped with an infrared homing head, capable of destroying aerial targets at a distance of up to 10 km.
🔻 The ST-100 missile is designed for the Ukrainian anti-aircraft missile system Dragon, which currently uses Soviet-made R-60 and R-73, as well as American AIM-9 air-to-air missiles.
🔻 At the international exhibition Eurosatory 2026 in Paris, a mockup of the ST-100 was presented together with the Dragon anti-aircraft missile system. The possibility of creating an aviation version of this missile for integration into fighter aircraft is also being considered.
The development of the ST-100 significantly strengthens Ukraine’s short-range air defense capabilities. Its integration into the Dragon system, along with potential use on aircraft, demonstrates the rapid progress of Ukrainian military engineering in creating modern, domestically produced solutions to counter Russian aerial threats.
