Q4- How many subjects are in it? Whats the total score?
There are 6 compulsory subjects- English Essay, English Precis & Composition, Pakistan Affairs, Current Affairs, General Science & Ability, and Islamic Studies. Each compulsory subject is of 100 marks.
Student also has to choose 6 optional subjects- some are of 200 marks and some of 100 marks.
This makes a total of 12 subjects and total written score of 1200.
Q5- What are the passing marks?
In each compulsory subject, passing marks are 40 out of 100.
To pass an optional subject, one has to obtain a score of 33.
In total, passing marks are 600 out of 1200.
If one clears all subjects individually, but his accumulated score is less than 600, it will be considered that he has failed the exam in that attempt.
