Three minor girls from Delhi’s Ashok Vihar have filed FIRs against their coaching centre teacher Mohd Imran of molestation
All three girls are from Hindu community
The first FIR was filed on 1 June, after which two more girls came forward and filed cases a week later. All under POCSO. Imran, 35, is in jail
I visited the spot today. Locals say there are many more victims but their parents are unwilling to involve police
I met one such parent - also Hindu - who said Imran molested his daughter last year but she quit the centre in a day citing poor teaching methods. It’s only now that she revealed to her parents the real reason of her quitting
Imran would ask the girls to sit close and then make them sit on his lap and grope them. Most girls quietly stopped going to Imran telling their parents they don’t understand what he teaches
