Very similar. What I think it's based on is Stanley Spencer's 1929 picture 'High Street, Cookham.' Hockney was a great admirer of Spencer, had his hair cut like him and used to push his painting gear around Bradford in a pram like Spencer did in Cookham.

The marks are all indistinct but we have Cookham town cancel, Marlowe CDS ?, nearby Maidenhead 492 bar cancel on front & London red mark on rear.
