روش HAP برای غیرفعال کردن IME توسط خود اینتل برای سازمانهای دولتی و اطلاعاتی ایالات متحده معرفی شد چون این سازمانها نمیخواستن IME روی دستگاههاشون فعال باشه.
با نصب سفتافزار coreboot میتونید از طریق HAP غیرفعالش کنید. یک انشعاب از coreboot به نام dasharo هم وجود داره که فرآیندش رو اتوماتیک میکنه و به شکل یک دکمه در منوی GUI سفتافزار در میاره.

That’s actually exactly what I am doing right now, though I am taking the Coreboot SeaBIOS path. Somehow I just don’t want the EDKII in my firmware with no good reason…
