Harry was also perfectly happy living at Nott Cott until #MeghanMarkle told him not to be. It dates back to 1689 and has low ceilings (people were shorter then, average height for men was 5’5) and it obviously old-for me old houses have a charm you cannot replicate. I live in New England where houses from the 1700-1800s and a few from 1600s are common and in high demand, so maybe Markle didn’t appreciate the history and charisma of old homes.
Harry lived there happily (and rent free) from Oct 2013 until Markle came along complaining-we know she expected to be living in an apartment like the Wales’ in KP, or a house like Anmer Hall. William and Catherine didn’t start their marriage in homes like that. They lived in a farmhouse in Wales until 2017, 6 yrs into their marriage, when they moved to the KP apartment (apartment is misleading, it’s 20 rooms with 3 kitchens, 5 reception rooms on 4 floors) and of course Anmer Hall. #HarryandMeghan got Frogmore cottage and signed a lease for a home in the Cotswolds-Westfield Large, a 4 bedroom 18th century farmhouse featuring 2 kitchens, a converted barn, heated patio on 4 acres with a separate 2 bedroom guest cottage. It’s conveniently on the same grounds as SoHo Farmhouse. Of course. #MeghanIsTheProblem

According to a letter from Congressman Jamie Raskin, FBI Director Kash Patel has been accused of using over $1 million in taxpayer funds to hand out side payments and bonuses to a hand-picked group of agents — including those on his personal security detail and his so-called “Director’s Advisory Team.”
These payments allegedly went to agents willing to carry out his personal and political orders, and in some cases, to ensure their silence regarding his excessive drinking and erratic behavior while in office.
The letter claims:
Agents received thousands of dollars in extra payments every pay period, sometimes on top of already maxed-out federal salaries. Some payments even bounced because the accounts were drained so quickly. These bonuses may have been used to buy loyalty and cover up misconduct.
This is the same Kash Patel who has repeatedly purged agents he viewed as disloyal and hollowed out the FBI for political purposes.
If these allegations are true, it represents a serious abuse of power and misuse of public funds at the highest levels of the FBI. This is unacceptable.

A few differences. Harry was 29 when he moved into Nott Cott-it was October 2013.
-Charles bought Highgrove via the Duchy of Cornwall in Aug 1980 in anticipation of his upcoming engagement to Diana. He was also heir to the throne. He was 31 when he bought it.
-the Queen never bought Andrew a house. She leased him Sunninghill Park in 1986 as a marital home for him and Sarah Ferguson-the home was completed in 1990. After that Andrew leased Royal Lodge in 2002 after the death of the Queen Mother.
-Edward had apartments in Buckingham Palace because his mother was the Queen. She did not buy them a home, Edward & Sophie secured the lease on Bagshot Park on their own.
-Beatrice and Eugenie shared the apartment in St James Palace when she turned 19. Andrew paid the rent-but she and Edo bought a farmhouse in the Cotswold and that’s where they spend most of their time.
-Eugenie lives at Ivy Cottage. She never had her own apartment at St James Palace, she lived in her sisters apartment. She’s been at Ivy Cottage since 2018 after her wedding.
Harry had rooms at Clarence House until he moved into Nott Cott, rent free, as a 29 year old bachelor. When he got married, he was given Frogmore which is no shack-it’s 10 bedrooms, 5100 square feet (472 square metres) so I’m not sure I see the issue. William and Catherine were gifted a home after their wedding. Harry and Meghan got Frogmore after their wedding. Harry was not slumming before Frogmore-he was quite comfortable.
