With the help of @NFTBiker's tooling, I've delisted every artwork in my collection today. The next step is moving a curated group of works into a dedicated wallet for The Garden's permanent [Tezos] collection. In the process, I've found myself thinking about what a collection looks like when it spans multiple blockchains. Traditionally, collections are understood as singular entities. Digital art complicates that picture. Works may live across Tezos, Ethereum, Solana, and whatever comes next, while still belonging to the same home and the same curatorial vision. Lately, I've become increasingly interested in preserving not only individual artworks, but the cultural moments that formed around them. Works by @bis__cut, @CreamyDreamy, and @tojibaceo feel inseparable from the communities, aesthetics, and ways of collecting that brought them into being. Perhaps that's part of what makes platforms like @raster_art so compelling. They offer a glimpse of how a collection can be experienced as a whole, even when its works remain distributed across different chains. For now, stewardship is fragmented across wallets and ecosystems. Yet a collection built across Tezos, Ethereum, Solana, and beyond begins to feel like more than a collection of artworks. It becomes a record of the conversations, communities, and artistic movements that shaped a particular moment in the history of the internet.
