During the clean up drive, I met this super friendly young female dog who has recently been abandoned on the tekdi and found out that she has not been spayed. The Cybage youngsters helped me carry her down to Kanchan Galli - and I sent her to Blue Cross for sterilization A Saturday morning well spent!

When I met him 10 years back, He was doing quite well! Or atleast that is the impression he gave! His employer Cybage made him QA-Lead - basically hiring other H-1Bs - and he took a cut out of every placement! He should have made a lot of money right? Where did it all go?

What the Cybage story is really about is the difference between product conviction and business conviction. The co-founder who left had product conviction. When the product died he had nothing left to hold onto. Arun had business conviction. He believed in his ability to build something valuable for clients regardless of what that something looked like. That is a fundamentally more durable foundation because products become obsolete but the ability to solve real problems for people who will pay you to solve them does not. A story about knowing the difference between what you are building and why you are building it.
