They brought a m@dman to the hospital yesterday.
The man was shouting,
"Ada! Ada! Ada!"
I kept wondering who Ada was.
He was admitted to the psychiatric ward.
Later, I went with Nurse Koko to see the young man, and I met him talking to himself.
"If I see Ada... If I catch her... What I will do to her! Ada... So Ada can do this to me?"
I told Nurse Koko, "The way this man is talking, I don't think he's really m@d like that o. He talks like someone who knows exactly what he's saying."
Nurse Koko looked at me.
"I am suspecting the same thing too. But you know sometimes people who are m@d usually start small small. Small small like this, the madness will start until it enters the brain."
"His own may have come from anger or heartbreak. Maybe Ada broke his heart."
She sighed.
I was curious, so I went to the man and asked,
"Who is Ada?"
The man looked at me.
"Ada... Ada... O Ada!"
The brother who had accompanied him to the ward answered.
"He is my brother. He committed mU.rder together with a lady called Ada. They k!lled someone in their compound. No one knows who the lady is. Only him does. But he has been calling her name. We were told Ada is the girl who ran away."
I looked at the man again.
"Brother, can you remember Ada?"
He looked at me.
"Yes."
"So who is she?"
"You are Ada... You are Ada."
I quickly dragged Nurse Koko and went back to the reception before the m@dman put me in trouble.
Me that have been in my house since this week.
Haa!
Lord have mercy!
