Ninja theory trabalhando em novas ips mais focada em gameplay, jogos de ação e poderiam quem sabe trabalhar mais em conjunto com uma equipe separada da the coalition. Investir mais em State of Decay, acelerando mais o desenvolvimento. Ter um State of Decay para mobile tambĂ©m. Expandir o universo de outros jogos da Obsidian e Inxile, investir mais neles para trazer um Pillars of Eternity com nĂ­vel insano assim como Avowed, aumentar as ambiçÔes de The Outer Worlds e grounded. Trazer jogos mais ambiciosos de Wasteland, Clockwork Revolution, The Bards Tale e novas ips. Se a compulsion for fechada mesmo (espero que nĂŁo), dĂȘ suas ips para a Arkane Lyon e invista mais nesse estĂșdio para lançarem mais jogos, alĂ©m de ter mais Dishonored e Deathloop, expandindo esse universo. ID e Machine Games em Doom, Quake, Wolfesntein, Rage, Heretic, Indiana Jones e criar duas novas IPs cada uma. Blizzard expandindo universos de Wow, Starcraft, Overwatch, Skylanders e Diablo para mais jogos diferentes. E criar uma nova IP(novo universo). Voltar com JRPGs, investindo nos universos de Blue Dragon e Lost Odyssey. Trabalhar junto novamente ou comprar a Remedy e trazer a continuação de Quantum Break. Trabalhar com a Bloober Team ou outro estĂșdio para jogos The Evil Within. Elsewhere trabalhar na sua nova IP, criar novas IPs e quem sabe, como ja disse, trabalhar em perfect dark com a IO. Trazer de volta Guitar Hero com versĂŁo para mobile. Jogo de kart envolvendo todos os personagens de ips do xbox. Killer Instinct e outro jogo de luta com personagens do xbox. Algum crossover doido como Halo x Doom. Trabalhar com a UNSEEN INC para trazer sequĂȘncias de ghost wire (tokyo). Comprar as IPs Ninja gaiden, Splinter Cell, Watch Dogs, Dantes Inferno e Prince of Persia Mais jogos licenciados como Star Wars, Senhor dos Aneis e HerĂłis da Marvel ou DC.

To go a bit deeper Microsoft purchased two of the biggest IPs on the planet with fallout and elder scrolls and spent $7.5 billion dollars on it. Since then the studio made one game that was neither of those franchises, and It’s estimated to have earned around $300 million. If we count fallout 76 as a major release from the studio, it took 5 years. (76 in 2018, starfield in 2023) Not bad, And let’s not forget they didn’t just buy Bethesda softworks for the 7.5, they also got Bethesda publishing. The same publisher to bring you smash hits like
 Redfall
 Doom the dark ages
 Deathloop
 Oh and let’s not also forget that Bethesda softworks said the Austin branch did 76, not the main team. So really it was 8 years between games. (Fallout 4 in 2015, starfield in 2023) And you’re telling me Microsoft was operating Xbox with a 3% margin? You’re telling me, that MICROSOFT could have just thrown that 7.5 billion into a high yield savings account and made more money? They could have just bought literal U.S. Bonds, and had a better return in a shorter amount of time for that money? They bought Bethesda FOR the IP. And with how Todd’s main team has been moving, Xbox won’t make their 7.5 billion back for about 100 years. Yes, games should not be rushed, nor should a studio be overworked. But god damn Todd you did Skyrim in 3 years. Fallout 3 in 2008, Skyrim in 2011) What has changed? The studio has quadrupled in staffing but production time has tripled? I’d love to be a fly on the wall inside Bethesda but I have my theories based on what we have heard. Todd has to touch every aspect of a game. So he has to individually go make rounds on the daily and approve things. To a studio that has quadrupled in size. He has to do this, because the studio does not believe in design documents (thank you Emil Pagliarulo) and in order for things to remain consistent, they are entirely relying on a 55 year old man’s mind. (I’m sure all of leadership is mostly on the same page as well but Todd does touch everything) Meanwhile, Todd is at the Game Awards one week, and red carpets the other, while also working on Indiana John’s and the lost dingleberry. But okay fine, fine. They got a way of working their magic ✹ So how about instead we let other game studios work on side projects for these IPs like we did with New Vegas? Oh because Todd doesn’t like that? Oh because he is still butt hurt that on average people liked NV more then 3? He doesn’t want other companies touching his IP because what if they do, it pulls the curtain out on this Bethesda magic. (I know this isn’t all Todd’s fault but he is the face of the studio so he eats the backlash)

Returnal, Forza H5, Metroid Dread and Deathloop were in the running. RE8 was probably the best game out that year overall but it was just a very mid year

i loved It Takes Two personally for the story and fun time it provided. 21 was just a weak year for gaming. Like Returnal was good. Kena was good. Deathloop was alright. Halo Infinite was underrated. RE8 was great but idk goty. The year was just mid
