🏆 Alex Foxen couldn’t let his wife have all the fun this summer, so he went and torched the field in the $10,000 Super Turbo Bounty to win $594,246 and his fourth gold bracelet.
📈 Per WSOP social media, the victory moved Foxen into the top spot on the WSOP Player of the Year leaderboard.
🏆 Sebastian Pauli topped 519 entries to win the $1,500 Razz for $135,564 and his first WSOP bracelet. Pauli denied Dennis Weiss a second piece of WSOP hardware this summer, topping Weiss in heads-up play.
🤑 Poker’s all-time money leader, Bryn Kenney, leads the final nine players in the $250K Super High Roller. They’re all in the money and playing for a $4,334,411 first-place prize. The event drew 56 entries.
♣️ Doug Lorgeree leads the final 30 players in the $10,000 Big O Championship. Scott Clements is second, with Gus Hansen, Mike Matusow, and Nick Schulman still in the mix.
♥️ 16,269 entries were tallied in this year’s Colossus, making it the 15th-largest live poker tournament of all time. Edouard Debrousse leads into Day 3, ahead of a field that includes Nick Rigby, Eric Baldwin, Patrick Leonard, and Stephen Song.
♠️ 230 players remain in the 3,903-entry $800 NL Hold’em Deepstack, and it’s two-time bracelet winner Allen Chang leading the way.
