I agree it seems they're very much on the right track and. With 8 months of devtime to go, now is a good time to give some good constructive feedback to help them steer in the right direction for a few aspects that could use further improvement.

I'd personally like a Zelda/Shiek centric game that takes place in the 7 years that link was gone after getting the master sword. I think it'd be a cool concept, and they'd be able to reuse large swaths of the map(s) to keep devtime on the shorter side.

I bring this up because 1997 is when Door to Phantomile first released, I imagine it will more than likely be an anniversary milestone game much like how PRS was. Still think the amount of devtime and sequel gap is fucking atrocious but PRS still outsold Pac-Man’s first remake.

I am very happy looking forward to Megaman DO, Castlevania belmonts curse, virtua fighter 6, tons of games. I even quite like remakes like pokemon ORAS, Metroid Samus Returns etc. I am upset now because i love zelda and theyre wasting devtime on an old thing, again.

One of the worst promo videos I’ve ever seen from Apple. I don’t want any of this AI bullshit; Devtime should be spent fixing the clusterfuck Liquid Ass caused, not making barely functional tech demos that won’t ever get more than 5 minutes of use.

It’s disgusting and shouldn’t be encouraged unless the companies can prove they can move on. I give Mega Man the benefit of the doubt because they were at least transparent about behind the scenes with the switch to the RE engine and COVID wasting devtime.

Yeah it'll release on those consoles, just not this generation lmfao Persona 5 also released on the PS3 despite the fact the PS4 has been out for 4 entire years at that point in time (because it was intended to release before the PS4 was even a thing, but Atlas SUCKS at devtime)

I mean, it depends on how they handle it. If they use it where appropriate and manage to reduce devtime and costs because of it, their performance can likely outweigh the stigma within the fanbase. But if they just straight up ship AI assets into final releases, it'll suck.

Savathun didn't have a face and her motion was mostly hand-animated. She's voiced by Debra Wilson Her roles where they need her face, acting AND voicework usually already has her face because why spend devtime to make a face when you ALREADY have a face ready.

Marathon não começou como um jogo de 200 milhões (nem como um jogo de extração) Mas com o passar dos anos e o desenrolar do desenvolvimento, acabamos com um extraction shooter de 7 anos de devtime com 250M de investimento

Mario Odyssey came out in 2017. We still haven't had a new 3D Mario game since. Also— Sonic Team hasn't been putting their full focus on a new mainline game for those 4 years. They're still the same people who made Crossworlds and Shadow Gens. Those also took devtime

I find a lot of the time, my best ideas come from when I'm not working behind a screen, but when I'm doing something completely unrelated to devtime. Not sure if that helps you at all, but I'll keep my eyes on the project!

Yeah, its called people wasting devtime on fucking deadman leagues They've both been a massive drain, and they're now taking up a huge part of the yearly schedule. Idk why the community doesn't demand this stop, both of these are trojan horse pieces of content.

You don't like them wasting half a year of devtime on reddit tier stawars fanfiction? You don't like going to the tower and seeing people as 1 for 1 starwars characters?

People keep forgetting these games are made by humans with actual direction and attention to devtime and production efficiency. It’s a racing game, not a reckless driving sim

We went to #Gamebox2026, Denmarks biggest gaming event, and it took A LOT of devtime and resources. BUT it was SO worth it! 🚀 Stats: - 57 games total (2 more than at CGW2026) - 700 players (more again) - 0 Crashes! - 300 questionnaires - 48% of the playtesters played again We LOVE events! Truly being community-first, meeting them face-to-face, learn in real-time and creating shared moments (and experiments) together. Now it's into high dev gear for Alpha! #indiegamedev #indiegame #gamedev #PreAlpha #Steam
